On the Art of Breadmaking – The Online Course with Peter Kapp

In this course, Master Peter Kapp himself explains how you can make sourdough and bake bread at home. To start with, you will learn how he went from being a simple master baker to a sought-after bread artist. After this exciting look behind the scenes, the Master will briefly introduce you to the structure of the course and the topics that await.


Sourdough bread is a staple in the world of baking, and this course will teach you the basic skills of starting, feeding and baking sourdough bread. Peter Kapp will also show you the essential equipment needed to bake bread. In the product knowledge section, you will learn all about the recipe for sourdough and different types of flour.


The lesson on “Homeland Breads” will teach you about traditional types of grain. Here, the Master shares great bread recipes, which you can follow to bake your own bread using healthy ingredients. Kapp dedicates part of the course to the local bread varieties of his native Austria. You’ll be surprised by the unique flavours!


Up next are specialty breads such as Pain Bistro Marius or Pane di Nittardi. Here, Kapp will also tell you how he comes up with his innovative creations and introduce you to some delicious spreads.
